The World
The nation of Docor is a large country, with an eclectic population of many races: humans, elves, dwarves and halflings being the most common.
Bordered between the Aserian Sea to the north, a mountain range and the country of Eitrein to the south, a relatively calm ocean and the country of Xeria to the east and another neighboring country, Verrun, to the west, Docor lives off of woodworking, transportation, and a rising industry in magitech.
Docor itself is mainly covered in rivers and has a rather temperate climate, leading to a closely concentrated population, seeing many of the folks living there in cities or large settlements. The country's landscape is pleasant; terraced fields of green, astonishing aquatic wildlife and huge waterfalls are just a sliver of the delicacy Docor has to offer, which is why the country is praised among foreigners.
The people of Docor are generous towards foreigners and tend to welcome them with warmth and kindness. They feel foreigners could innervate the country's well being.
Docor has pleasant laws and law enforcement, which is predictable of the country, though the people are concerned due to stress put on the nature and wildlife by technological advances.
Located in the Sirath Plains, near the edge of the Tristerre Woods, lies the city Thal Balolur. This is a place primarily inhabited by Orc and Half-Orc, though like in most parts of Docor, all races can be found. Thal Balolur is less of a formal city and more a settlement: hunting and gathering are what keeps it thriving.
Alryne, a little ways north of Thal Balolur, is known for its textiles and fabric-craft. From brilliant, hand-woven tapestries to the finest silks, you can find it here. Alryne is less-known for the fire opal mines that run far beneath the earth's crust.
A'eltaesi is a city founded by both dwarves and elves. Built into the side of a mountain, this city is home to the Cadeis Academy, one of the top magic academies in Aisela as a whole. This city is made of gleaming black stone and is known far and wide for the unique blend of Elven and Dwarven blacksmithing techniques.
Ar Khazen is nestled into a valley at the base of the Malacor Mountains. It is a Dwarven city at heart and many of the precious gems and minerals come from the mines below the city and deep within the mountains. There are claims of strange creatures living deep in the mines, but no one has ever confirmed such stories.
Located near the border between Docor and Eitrein, Srisa is a quiet city, one of the last before venturing into the Soundless Expanse. Srisa is a trader's town, mostly inhabited by those that know the ins and outs of venturing through the desert.
To the south, the coastal city of Temperei is a colorful, semi-tropical paradise that is widely known for its lush jungles and beautiful waters and beaches. Deep in the jungles surrounding the city, ruins and caverns lurk for whatever intrepid explorer wishes for a spot of adventure.
Aldermere is a city that mysteriously vanished, leaving but an empty husk of buildings and towers. It was once a thriving city, among the prettiest areas within the Soundless Expanse, but years lost to the sands and storms of the desert have rendered it a ghost town.
Ix Varas is the last of the Major Cities of Docor. Loosely translating to "The City of Crows", Ix Varas takes up the majority of a small island off the coast of Docor, near the border with Xeria. Legend holds that it was once a holy city, but it is now the meeting place for the various pirate crews and ships that make their work in the waters surrounding Docor.
